Truth & Reconciliation
Publication, Typesetting, Copywriting
The annual observation of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation has led to opportunities for employers to engage on the topic of Truth and Reconciliation. In this 12-page interactive and accessible guide, learners are given topics to begin their journeys. Each topic is introduced with activity questions to prompt critical thinking and personal reflection, while users are encouraged to use Google and other resources to find answers.
The design follows the branding for the employee resource group (ERG) for Indigenous employees at a Canadian tech company. Dotted lines flow like streams of current, wind, or topographical lines on a map through sunset gradients, tying brand to relevant themes for the ERG. Ample space on the page gives opportunities for eyes to rest and consider the content, with lined pages for notes at the end of the guide.
